Advance operates approximately 5,100 stores, 126 Worldplace branches and serves approximately 1,300 independently owned CARQUEST branded stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada. US Fortune 500 Multinational Automotive Giant is currently looking for a Programmer Analyst III to join their Supply Chain Systems Development Team in Hyderabad. The Supply Chain Development Team is responsible for the analysis, development, testing, and supporting supply chain applications. Our supply chain operates at significant scale supporting over 6,000 inventory locations across North America and a rapidly growing eCommerce direct-to-customer delivery model. Transformation is the focus as we are consolidating systems and embracing software-as-a-service (Saas). As a Programmer Analyst II, you will: Independently assist in research and fact finding to develop or modify information systems. Perform in-depth analysis and research of large systems. Write detailed and maintainable program specifications for large programs, objects or systems to be used by others. Write new highly complex programs, objects or systems from detailed specifications. Facilitate technical and user walkthroughs of information systems. Provide time estimates for projects to be performed by self or others. Participate in on-call support rotation for moderate to critical system issues. Lead medium or large projects including cross-functional interaction. Interface frequently with business partners concerning their needs. Maintain a thorough knowledge of US Fortune 500 Multinational Automotive Giant technologies. Participate in all SDLC roles Work closely with US Fortune 500 Multinational Automotive Giant Architects to solution new systems and interfaces. Utilize and enhance established design patterns in system design and development. Lead code / design reviews for appropriate level of complexity. Create and maintain technical documentation. This team is looking for individuals that possess: Emphasis on teamwork and knowledge sharing. Knowledge of various SDLC methodologies and roles. Exceptional organization, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to design, code, test, and debug in the required environment. Desire to work in a fast paced environment, balance multiple concurrent assignments, and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to develop innovative and scalable solutions. Self-management and task prioritization capabilities. Required Technical and Professional experience: Minimum of 2-3 years experience in application development or support of a Labor Management System (Blue Yonder WLM) Proficient in SQL (PL/SQL or MS SQL) programming. Preferred Technical and Professional experience: Diverse interface methodologies include REST APIs and Web Services. SQL (PL/SQL or MS SQL) programming Understanding of Supply Chain and Warehousing concepts. Saas application experience Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
